Shortly after 0500 hours today July 27th Bishopville was alerted to assist Sussex County Station 88 Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company with a Commercial Structure Fire at Pomeroy's Liquor Store. Personnel arrived on scene with fire showing through the roof and were assigned to the rear to assist with suppression. Units cleared the scene shortly after 0900 hours. Bishopville units on the call were Engine Tanker 907, Engine 906, and Tanker 9. Special thanks to Ocean Pines VFD for standing by at Bishopville.
